Advantages and disadvantages

Among the main advantages of the variety:

  • early ripening of fruits;
  • great taste;
  • good productivity;
  • shade tolerance;
  • resistance to major diseases.

The disadvantages include the need to form a bush. Tall plants need reliable support. It will not be possible to collect seed on your own beds, seeds from tomatoes do not inherit the characteristics of the parent plant.

Growing features

Tomatoes of the "Bella F1" variety are grown in a seedling or non-seedling way. The seeds do not need to be processed; they undergo all stimulating and disinfecting procedures before being sold.

Seedling soil is made up of a mixture of garden soil with humus or peat. With the seedling method, the seeds are sown in containers with a depth of 1.5-2 cm, sprinkled with peat and placed in heat. After the emergence of seedlings, the film is removed, the seedlings are exposed to light and watered with warm water.

When the first true leaves unfold on the plants, a pick is carried out, the tomatoes are fed with liquid complex fertilizer. Transplantation into soil or greenhouse begins in the second half of May... With the seedless method, the seeds are sown immediately on the beds, fertilized with a generous portion of humus.

The plantings are sprayed with water and covered with foil. Tomatoes grown in this way are distinguished by strong immunity. After the emergence of seedlings, the planting is thinned out.

Young bushes are placed at a distance of 40-50 cm from each other, the row spacing is from 60 cm. Water the plants sparingly, with warm soft water. Every 2 weeks, the plants are fed with complex fertilizer or organic matter. Tall bushes are tied to stakes or trellises. All stepchildren above 2 brushes are removed, the lower leaves and deformed flowers are also best removed.

Diseases and pests

Tomato variety "Bella F1" is not too susceptible to major diseases: tobacco mosaic, verticillium, fusarium. Early ripening protects fruits from late blight epidemic.

For the prevention of fungal diseases, it is recommended to spray young plants with a weak solution of potassium permanganate or phytosporin. Proper watering, mulching or frequent loosening of the soil with timely weed control will help protect plantings from top or root rot.

Insect pests often spoil the fresh greens of tomatoes. Spraying plantings with herbal infusions will help to get rid of them: celandine, yarrow, chamomile. You can fight naked slugs with the help of ammonia; it is easiest to wash off aphids with warm soapy water.

Bellé F1 is an interesting and easy-to-grow tomato that forgives small mistakes in agricultural technology. High yield, endurance and low susceptibility to diseases makes it a welcome guest on any personal plot.
